The Blending and Carbonation System continuously and highly accurately controls the original gravity, alcohol and CO2content of beer by the precisely regulated blending of deaerated water and dosing of CO2.Optionally malt extract, hops extract, flavouring or syrup dosing can be integrated in the system.
Within the commercial brewing sector, a methodologically rigorous process has been systematized and refined over decades for accomplishing the dual operations of blending and carbonation at facilities where beer undergoes manufacturing via the high gravity brewing methodology.
The system distinguishes itself through the deployment of analyzers engineered for high accuracy and dependability, paired with sophisticated control algorithms that maintain precision across operational parameters.
Technical Description
The flow of beer and water is measured by electromagnetic flow meters positioned at the inlet of the system, which serve as the primary instrumentation for real-time flow rate monitoring in beverage production facilities. Two parallel control valves of different sizes work in tandem to adjust the flow of deaerated water as a precise percentage of the beer flow, enabling operators to maintain exact mixing ratios throughout the production process.
Afterwards CO2 is injected into the beer via the GDI gas injector developed by koercl. The gas injector splits the CO2 into very small bubbles and ensures that the CO2 completely dissolves in a very short time. This can be monitored by a sight glass situated at the outlet of the dissolving path.
Within the fermentation and packaging workflow for beverage production, the beer monitor system operates at the outlet stage to provide real-time measurement of three critical parameters that define product quality and consistency.
The unit can be controlled either through a local programmable logic controller paired with an operator touch panel interface, or alt
The CIP cleaning system accommodates the rigorous sanitation protocols mandated across brewing and beverage manufacturing facilities by supporting compatibility with the full spectrum of c
